Mark is a final year medical student at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he will graduate with a medical doctorate with distinction in research in May 2022. Prior to medical school, Mark graduated from Austin College with a degree in neuroscience. During medical school he enjoyed the opportunity to care for all patients and gain a deep understanding of the human body and disease. He felt especially passionate about caring for patients with conditions affecting the brain and spine. Martina Tyrrell, PhD
Martina is an anthropologist and human geographer. Her research interests include environmental knowledge and skill and human-animal relations. She received a PhD in anthropology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2005. She was a British Academy postdoctoral fellow at the Scott Polar Research Institute at the University of Cambridge and held human geography lecturing positions at the University of Reading and the University of Exeter.
